The National Weather Service in Miami extended the Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal Broward County and coastal Miami-Dade County in an update issued at 10:56 AM on Thursday, October 29. The advisory is now in effect until 8 PM on Friday, October 30, with moderate coastal flooding expected.
The Weather Service says flooding of lots, parks, and roads is expected around high tide, with only isolated road closures expected.
If travel is required, allow extra time in case some roads are closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth, and take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
