The National Weather Service in Miami issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal Broward County and coastal Miami-Dade County at 3:19 AM on Friday, October 30. The advisory is in effect until 8 PM on Saturday, October 31, with moderate coastal flooding expected.
The Weather Service says flooding of lots, parks, and roads is expected, with only isolated road closures expected.
If travel is required, allow extra time in case some roads are closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth, and take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
