The National Weather Service in Miami issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal Palm Beach County and coastal Broward County at 3:35 AM on Saturday, October 31. The advisory runs through 7 PM Sunday, November 1, with moderate coastal flooding expected during periods of high tide.

The Weather Service says the flooding could cover lots, parks, and roads, with only isolated road closures expected. The same stretch of coast is also under a High Surf Advisory and a high rip current risk through at least Monday morning, with large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet.

If travel is required, allow extra time, as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth, and take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
