The National Weather Service in Miami extended the Coastal Flood Warning for coastal Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties in an update issued at 1:20 AM on Monday, October 26. The warning now runs until 8 PM Wednesday, October 28 — a day later than the Tuesday evening end time in the previous warning — with significant coastal flooding expected.
The Weather Service says numerous roads may be closed, and low-lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated, with some shoreline erosion.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
