The Weather Service says a brief period of heavy rainfall is expected. At 3:40 AM, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain about to pass over an area recently impacted by heavy rain and flash flooding on Sunday afternoon and evening. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected, and this rain will likely aggravate ongoing flooding. Turn around, do not drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
