The National Weather Service in Miami extended the Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties in an update issued at 2:25 PM on Friday, October 23. The advisory now runs until 2 AM Sunday, October 25, replacing the previous end time of 8 PM Saturday, with moderate coastal flooding expected.

The Weather Service says numerous roads may be closed and low-lying property, including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure, may be inundated, with some shoreline erosion possible.

If travel is required, allow extra time in case some roads are closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth, and take steps to protect flood-prone property.
