The National Weather Service in Miami issued a new Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties at 1:45 AM on Wednesday, October 28. The advisory is in effect from 8 PM Wednesday to 8 PM Thursday, October 29, with moderate coastal flooding expected. It follows the Coastal Flood Warning that remains in effect until 8 PM Wednesday.
The Weather Service says numerous roads may be closed, and low-lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure may be inundated, with some shoreline erosion possible.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
