The National Weather Service in Miami issued a Coastal Flood Warning for coastal Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties at 7:43 AM on Sunday, October 25. The warning is in effect from 2 AM Monday, October 26, to 8 PM Tuesday, October 27, replacing the previous Coastal Flood Watch. A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until the warning begins at 2 AM Monday.

The Weather Service says moderate coastal flooding is expected around periods of high tide, reaching major flood stage on Monday and Tuesday. Numerous roads may be closed, and low-lying property including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure will be inundated, with some shoreline erosion.

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
