The National Weather Service in Miami continued a Flood Watch for all of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties at 12:49 PM on Sunday, November 1. The watch runs through 3 PM Monday, November 2.
The Weather Service says flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. Scattered locations across the east coast could pick up 3 to 5 inches of rain through Monday, with isolated spots seeing 5 to 7 inches in a few hours. That could bring street flooding, road closures and limited impacts in flood-prone areas, especially if the heaviest rain falls near the coast at high tide.
Monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. People living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
