The National Weather Service in Miami issued a Flood Watch for all of Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties at 12:43 AM on Sunday, November 1. The watch is in effect from 10 AM Sunday through 3 PM Monday, November 2.
The Weather Service says an upper-level low over Florida will bring bands of repeated heavy rain. Scattered locations could pick up 3 to 5 inches through Monday, with isolated spots seeing 5 to 7 inches in a few hours. That could cause street flooding, road closures and limited impacts in flood-prone areas, especially if the heaviest rain falls near the coast at high tide.
Monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. People living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
