The National Weather Service in Miami issued a High Surf Advisory for coastal Palm Beach County and coastal Broward County at 1:41 AM on Monday, November 2. The advisory is in effect until 7 AM Monday, November 2.
The Weather Service says large breaking waves of 6 to 7 feet are expected in the surf zone. That brings dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion along the coast. A Coastal Flood Advisory and a Rip Current Statement remain in effect for the same beaches through Tuesday evening.
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to the dangerous surf conditions.
