If your family planned to spend Saturday morning at LagoonFest, change the plan: the festival has been canceled and will not be rescheduled this year.

LagoonFest 2026 was set for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 31, along the West Palm Beach waterfront. Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management said the decision was made out of an abundance of caution, citing forecasted elevated water levels and localized flooding from the king tides that have inundated Flagler Drive and other low-lying areas over the past week.

Why it matters: this would have been the 13th running of the free family festival celebrating the Lake Worth Lagoon. One part of the Saturday plan survives — the West Palm Beach GreenMarket next door will go on as scheduled, the city events office confirmed Friday morning.
