The October 2026 Visa Bulletin is in effect. Before filing Form I-485, check your priority date and confirm whether the Dates for Filing or Final Action Dates chart applies to your category.

Separately, USCIS fees rise October 16 for several humanitarian forms — anything postmarked on or after that date with the old fee will be rejected:

  • Pending asylum application: $102 → $105
  • I-765 work permit (asylum/parolees/TPS): $560 → $570
  • I-821 TPS: $510 → $520
  • I-131 parole: $1,020 → $1,050

File early if affected, verify the amount on the official USCIS fee schedule, and keep receipt and postmark proof.
