The National Weather Service in Miami issued a Wind Advisory for metro and coastal areas of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties at 1:18 AM on Monday, October 26. The advisory is in effect from 11 AM Monday to 8 PM Tuesday, October 27.
The Weather Service expects northeast winds of 20 to 25 mph with frequent gusts up to 40 mph across metro and coastal areas of the three counties. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
