As of Wednesday, October 21, the U.S. Department of State's Visa Bulletin page still showed October 2026 as the current edition and listed the November bulletin only as "Coming Soon." The November dates are due to take effect on November 1, and the department has given no reason for the delay.
It is the second late bulletin in a row. The October 2026 bulletin only reached the public on September 29, two days before its dates took effect, and November bulletins in recent years have normally appeared by mid-October.
What the delay does not change: your priority date is fixed by when your petition or labor certification was filed, and October's cutoff dates continue to govern filings through October 31. USCIS will separately announce whether adjustment-of-status applicants may use the Dates for Filing chart in November, as it allowed for October.
Why it matters: many Indian families in South Florida time green-card filings around these monthly dates. Check travel.state.gov yourself rather than relying on forwarded screenshots claiming the new dates are out, and keep your filing package ready so you can act quickly when the bulletin posts. This is general information, not legal advice.
